New Year's Day bus service

Date: 22/12/2011

Working with us, local bus operator North Somerset Coaches has stepped in to fill a big gap in the seasonal timetables over the festive break.

They will operate a replacement service on bus route 353 from Weston-super-Mare to Bristol on New Year’s Day as no service will be provided by First Bus.

Buses will operate to the same times as the normal Sunday 353 timetable.
Buses will leave Weston town centre at 7.55am and then at 45 minutes past each hour. Buses leave Bristol bus station on the hour.

Towns and villages served include Worle, Hewish, Congresbury, Claverham, Cleeve, Backwell, Flax Bourton and Long Ashton.

There are special fares for everyone, with a maximum return fare of just £5. And you can start 2012 with a day out to Bristol with all the family for only £10.

Don’t run the risk of being over the limit the morning after your New Year's Eve celebrations. Sit back and let the New Years' Day Special bus service take you where you need to go!

Deputy leader and executive member for transport, Cllr Elfan Ap Rees, said: "This is just one example that demonstrates that by working in partnership with our local bus operators we can provide a service aimed at benefiting everyone."
