Street names and numbers

We are responsible for erecting street name plates and also naming streets and numbering properties in North Somerset.

We consult with various bodies when deciding on street names and to make sure that names which already exist locally will not be repeated in any new roads or buildings.

It is not our responsibility to erect street name plates on private roads.
