We are responsible for cleaning the public highways and
streets across North Somerset.
We remove litter, dog mess and rubbish from your local community
and wash areas where excessive grease and grime has collected. We
also empty litter
bins.
In Weston-super-Mare our cleaning team rakes the beach clean
every morning and clears it of litter during the summer.
We spray verges and pavements with weed killer at least three
times a year to prevent weed growth.
We aim to clear
fly-tipped waste within two working days of it being reported
although very large deposits may take longer to remove due to the
collection of evidence and haulage arrangements.
We aim to remove reported dead animals within one working day of
being told and syringes within two hours.
If you do find a syringe do not touch or hide it and report it
to the local landowner as soon as possible or contact us for
further advice.
Our services do not include the cleansing of private land.
