We close flooded roads and issue warnings to safeguard
the public who use our highways within North
Somerset.
Once floodwaters recede we will investigate why an area has
flooded and aim to improve drainage and clean road gullies
once a year.
However, we are not responsible for preventing
flooding on private property.
