We are responsible for keeping roads and highways across
North Somerset clean and free from spillages.
Spillages of certain substances, such as oil,
gravel, sand and dropped cargo, can cause traffic
accidents and should be reported to us immediately.
Where spilled loads are of a hazardous nature
the police
and fire service may
become involved and road closures may be required.
If you see an accident or spillage on any roads you should report
it to us as an emergency.
During working hours (Monday - Friday from 8am to 6pm)

If possible, please provide us with details of the offender as this
will help us recover any costs as spillages are expensive to
clear up.
