We work hard to ensure people can travel safely
around North Somerset as easily and conveniently as
possible.
We look after 1,100km of roads across the district and keep them
safe for use by thousands of pedestrians and motorists every
day.
Our annual maintenance programme has received an additional
£500,000 over the past two years to improve our transport network
as good links are vital for our continued success.
We are well-served by the M5, mainline railway and
Bristol International
Airport and have an efficient and comprehensive public
transport network.
Through the
Joint Local
Transport Plan (JLTP) we are also working hard to ensure travel
becomes more environmentally-friendly and our roads are
accident-free. |
