We have produced a draft Joint Commissioning Strategy
for older people living in North Somerset.
The strategy represents the joint ambitions of Health, Social
Care, and Housing in North Somerset to develop services for older
people. The key aim of this strategy is to achieve the
transformation of services which offer real choices and better
outcomes for older people.
In particular, NHS North Somerset and the council are
keen to develop a range of joint services which actively work to
promote independence and reduce our use of hospital-based or
care home options.
We would like to hear your views on what we are planning to
do. There is a short
