The structure of our children's social care
service is no longer fit for purpose with plans in place to change
the way it carries out its business across North
Somerset.
This planning is still in its early stages with any proposed
changes set to be made within the context of integrated
working.
It is important these changes do not disrupt services to those
who are most in need and at risk of significant harm as this would
could compromise their safety or welfare.
A consultation paper will be shared with relevant staff and
other agencies to seek feedback about any proposed changes.
