The Government is committed to rolling out
ContactPoint across all areas of England by summer
2009.
Part of the
Every Child Matters (ECM) programme, we have received funding
to ensure our systems are up to date and can feed into this
national online database.
Implementation work started in Spring 2007 to analyse the local
children's services workforce and to assess how many potential
ContactPoint users will require access.
A ContactPoint Implementation Project Board has been set up in
North Somerset to identify our stakeholders and partners.
Alongside this, we are working with these groups to resolve how
data will be shared with the national ContactPoint database.
