The Change for Children programme is a new
approach to enhance the well-being of children and young people
from birth to 19 years.
It aims for every child, whatever their background or
circumstances, to have the support they need to achieve well-being
based on five positive targets called
outcomes.
As a result, the provision of services for children, young
people and their families in North Somerset is changing.
All organisations involved with providing these services,
including ourselves, hospitals, schools, the police and voluntary
groups, will be teaming up in new ways.
This means they will share information and work together to
protect children and young people from harm and help them achieve
what they want in life.
