Inter-country adoption applies to any child adopted
from outside of the UK.
Adoption permanently transfers the legal responsibility of care
to the adoptive parents providing a child with a new, secure and
permanent family to grow up in.
The children up for inter-country adoption come from
a variety of backgrounds prior to placement.
For instance, many live in children's homes or orphanages
or are in foster care and there may be little information
about their early life or upbringing.
The children may have emotional, behavioural, developmental and
medical problems while some may have physical or learning
disabilities.
If you are interested in taking on one of these children please
contact our Adoption Team
or fill in our
Adoption interest form.

Adoption Team or

Centre website.
