Before travelling abroad it is worth taking a
few moments to consider that global travel can bring with it some
health risks.
Vaccinations are required when travelling to certain
countries.
The number and type of immunisations vary from country to country
but the Department of
Health can provide you with information about the ones you
may need.
Your doctor should also be able to give you advice and
administer vaccinations or refer you to someone who can.
You should contact your GP at least six to eight weeks prior to
travelling to discuss your requirements.
For further information contact
the Department of Health on 0207
210 4850 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
