We are inviting applications from suitably qualified
providers who wish to be considered for entry onto this Framework
Agreement.
Providers are asked to submit information, which is detailed in
the application pack. Applications will be subject to an evaluation
process, which will look at the information submitted and this will
be scored against a set of criteria.
An application pack and further details can be downloaded from
the Community
Team for Learning Disability in North Somerset
The closing date for applications is Friday, 26th November
2010.
Who can submit an application?
Applications for entry onto the Framework Agreement are open to
both domiciliary and day service providers who currently have:
- no formal contracts with North Somerset Council
- an existing contract with North Somerset Council.
A requirement of the application process is that each Provider
will have a local office address. For domiciliary care providers
this will be a local CQC registered branch office, which has been
approved by CQC for working with North Somerset Council under this
Framework Agreement. ‘Local’ includes the areas of North Somerset,
Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Bath and North East Somerset.
Any Provider who does not currently have an office in one of the
local areas and is successful with their application will be
required to have a local office base within the first 3 months of
implementation of the Framework Agreement (i.e. by 31st March
2011).
What will happen next?
An evaluation will be carried out on the application submission.
This will involve scoring the information provided against a set of
criteria, and making a decision based on this as to whether the
provider meets the required standard expected by us.
Providers that meet the required standard will be awarded entry
onto the Framework Agreement, which will be implemented on 1st
January 2011.
