We provide a whole range of services aimed at
improving the lives for children with disabilities in North
Somerset.
Our Disabled Children's team assess the needs of disabled
children and provides information on available services and
resources within the area.
We work with a range of organisations to help children and young
people access community services and resources, including
activities such as pre-school playgroups, nurseries, after school
clubs, youth clubs and summer holiday schemes.
The Family Link Scheme can arrange short breaks for disabled
children and young people.
We are also responsible for helping disabled children to remain
living at home within their family environment and reduces the need
for residential services.
