North Somerset's Poppyfields Residential care
home caters for people with a variety of mental health
problems.
It is situated in Worle, Weston-super-Mare, cares for 18 people
suffering from mental frailty and illness associated with
dementia.
It aims to offer them a good quality of life by providing
first-class care in a friendly, relaxed and stimulating
environment.
The care we offer meets their assessed daily living needs and
encourages them to remain as independent as possible.
During temporary periods of ill health, staff try to meet their
home nursing needs with the support of community nurses. However,
if a high level of long-term nursing care is required it is likely
that a nursing home will be arranged.
As well as permanent residents our home also offers short-term care
for people still living in the community.
