We can help provide sheltered homes specifically
adapted for older people.
The properties are grouped together and are designed and managed
with retired and elderly people in mind.
Sheltered housing creates a community which helps to promote
friendship and a feeling of security.
The properties may be bungalows, ground or first floor flats or
flats within a specifically adapted building with a lift.
Most of the dwellings have full central heating, one or two
bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom.
The minimum age for eligibility is 60 years and we encourage
residents to maintain an independent life.
Each resident is a secure tenant with all the obligations and
responsibilities of a tenancy.
All our schemes have a warden who live on-site or within a nearby
scheme.
They contact each resident on a daily basis between Monday and
Friday with round-the-clock emergency cover available via an alarm
system linked to an emergency control centre.
Current housing association tenants may be eligible for sheltered
housing according to their age and needs and require an assessment
as part of any application.
We maintain a waiting list of people and allocate homes when
suitable properties become available.

Housing application form.
