When you meet with your care manager they will ask
you to agree suitable days for your home care assistant to
visit.
Every effort will be made to send the same assistant each week
at the agreed time.
However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as staff
sickness, or a critical situation involving someone else they
visit, there may be a delay.
In these cases you may be asked if you will temporarily accept
another assistant.
If you are going to be away from home, please let us know as
soon as possible and we will stop your services while you are
away.
You should contact us again on your return and your service will
be resumed.
If your needs change you can contact your care manager or you
ask your assistant to do this for you.
Your care manager will re-assess your care needs with you and
draw up a new care plan.
