Registered service providers are required by law
to have a complaints procedure and must provide information on how
to complain. This includes care homes and home care
agencies.
Adult Social Services and Housing, the
Commission for Social Care
Inspection (CSCI) and
North Somerset
PCT have agreed a protocol for dealing with complaints about
commissioned services. This deals with complaints from individuals
that are unhappy with the way the provider has dealt with a
complaint or with the outcome.
