Registered service providers are required by law to have
a complaints procedure and must provide information on how to
complain. This includes care homes and home care
agencies.

Somerset PCT have agreed a protocol for dealing with complaints
about commissioned services. This deals with complaints from
individuals that are unhappy with the way the provider has dealt
with a complaint or with the outcome.
