Swim from Weston-super-Mare to Cardiff - without leaving
North Somerset!
Take up the Bronze, Silver or Gold challenge and swim from
Weston-super-Mare to Flat Holm, Steep Holm and Cardiff - in your
local swimming pool.
Just swim the equivalent distance in metres in a swimming pool
and record how far you've swum as you go. Certificates will be
awarded at each landmark:
- Flat Holm - bronze certificate
- Steep Holm - silver certificate
- Cardiff - gold certificate and exclusive 'Swim the Bristol
Channel' t-shirt.
There is no time limit but the sooner you get swimming the
better. Pick up a
challenge card from your
local leisure centre or
library, or contact our
Sports and Active
Lifestyles team to receive one through the post.
