We maintain the coastal areas of North Somerset. As well as looking after the beaches in the district like Sand Bay we are responsible for the stalls and concessions. We take seafront safety seriously and provide a number of lifebelts at key waterside locations. Our Seafront Rangers also provide a beach patrol at Weston-super-Mare during the summer season. We are keen on coastal protection and try to protect the area from erosion and encroachment by the sea. We are also responsible for the public areas of Knightstone slipway and harbour.
