Our Seafront Rangers provide a beach patrol at
Weston-super-Mare during the summer season.
From April to September they patrol the seafront and offer help
and advice to the public between 10am and 6pm.
And during the winter months they check the beach throughout the
day.
Our Rangers also perform a wide range of duties including the
following:
- reuniting lost children with their families
- administering first aid
- ensuring windsurfers and kite surfers stick to their designated
beach areas
- freeing stuck cars from the beach and ensuring they obey the
15mph speed limit
- keeping dogs off the beach during the summer
- monitoring the cleanliness and safety of the seafront,
concessions and public toilets
