Somerset Hall

Somerset Hall will be closed between 9 January and 17 February 2012, to allow for the installation of a new passenger lift.

Somerset Hall is a 300 person capacity multi-purpose venue available for private hire in North Somerset.

The Portishead venue is in the town's High Street and has a licensed bar and ample car parking facilities.

The venue is used for:

• wedding receptions
• birthday parties
• anniversaries
• special occasions
• conferences
• meetings
• dinners and dances
• theatre productions                                                        

It can take up to 300 people for theatre performances, 250 for dances and discos or 200 for a banquet.
 
For smaller functions it can be split in two for up to 120 people or the lounge can be hired for 100 people.

Due to the flexibility of the hall it is an ideal site for meetings and conferences.  Food, tea and coffee can be provided.
