Do you want to be a coach or instructor?

Date: 01/09/2010

Do you think you could do a better job than your exercise instructor?
Are you fed up with watching your children or friends from the side lines?
Are you no longer able to take part in the sport you love but would still like to be involved?

Well, have you thought about becoming a coach or instructor? The Go4Life bursary can do just that by helping you to gain a formal qualification.

The aim of the bursary is to support North Somerset residents who may not have any formal coaching/instructing qualifications or as part of their development want to attend additional physical activity or coaching courses.

Funding is available to cover either all or half of the overall course fee depending on the cost of the course. In return for the support received you have to commit one voluntary hour per £10 in funding you access to the North Somerset coaching programme.

Awards will be made on a bi-monthly basis up until Monday 28 February 2011 or until the funding runs out.
