The Campus in Locking Castle is offering a variety of
activities for children to get involved with during the February
school holidays.
Football Fun days will be running between 9am and 3pm, from
Monday February 15 to Friday 19 and, for the first time
ever, the Thursday session will feature a special ‘Power Cage’
which measures how hard the ball is kicked. The sessions will
be taken by an FA qualified coach and are for children aged six to
13 years old. The cost is £8 per child per day, except
Thursday which will cost £11 per child.
Trampoline classes for five to 12 year olds will take place each
day from Monday 15 to Thursday February 18. There will be two
sessions each day with the first running between 10 and 11am, and
the second from 11.15am until 12.15pm. Children can book onto
as many of the sessions as they wish. The cost is £3.75 per session
and the sessions are open to all abilities – from experienced
bouncers to those who want to try trampolining for the first
time!
The Campus staff will be hosting an arts and crafts session for
children aged five to 12 years old on Tuesday February 16 from 2 to
4pm. The cost is £6 per child.
And for budding chefs there will be two Kids Cookery Club
sessions on offer. These will be between 2pm and 4pm on
Wednesday 17 and Friday 19, for children aged four to 16
years. The cost is £7.50 per child, per session.
Places are limited so all sessions must be booked and paid for
in advance, and parents/guardians must complete an activity consent
form before a child can participate in the sessions.
