The popular summer season of bandstand concerts gets
under way in North Somerset this Sunday (10 May).
Free concerts will take place at the bandstands in Grove Park,
Weston-super-Mare and on the seafront at Clevedon every Sunday
throughout the summer until 13 September.
Weston Brass will be beginning the season at Grove Park this
Sunday with Portishead Concert Band performing in Clevedon.
The concerts in Weston have been sponsored by the recently
opened ‘Café in the Park’ in Grove Park, converted from a derelict
shelter in conjunction with us.
We have organised the concerts which will generally take
place from 3pm to 5pm, although times will occasionally
vary.
