Opening times and charges

North Somerset Museum is open throughout year.

Based in Burlington Street, Weston-super-Mare, our museum is open from 10am-4.30pm Monday to Saturday.

Admission charges
when applicable

Adult day ticket - £4.10
Senior citizen day ticket - £3.10

Adult annual ticket - £9.20
Senior citizen annual ticket - £7.00

Children under 16 years - free
when accompanied by a responsible adult
(maximum of four children per adult)

Discounted admission is available for group visits for 10 or more people visiting the museum as part of an organised group visit. The charges per head are:

Adults - £3.90
Senior citizens - £2.85
Children (5-15 years) - £1.65
Students (16 and over in full-time education) - £2.85

Talks and guided walks

We can provide and arrange talks for local organisations on the work of the museum or specific subjects upon request.

We can also lead guided walks which are usually within North Somerset with special itineraries available.

The charges for these services are as follows:

• For organisations within North Somerset - £38
• For organisations outside North Somerset - £54

Use of handling packs

Handling packs can be booked by groups for use during a visit to the museum at £5 per handling pack.

Conference facilities

The conference room is available for hire for groups of up to 20 people at £17 per hour.

Courtyard hire

You can hire the museum courtyard for special events outside normal hours at a cost of £43.50 per hour (£52 per hour at weekends).

Photographic copies

We can provide copies of images held by the museum where there are no copyright restrictions.

The fees are dependent upon the size of the print you require and are as follows:

Facility fees for use of collections - excluding personal research

You will have to pay a fee for any photographic or video recording, drawing or other illustration of the following:

• public display galleries
• objects from the collections
• archival material.

The fees apply as long as you intend to use them for publication, publicity, exhibition or other public use and are as follows:

• fee per image without acknowledgement - £78.72
• fee per image with acknowledgement - £39.36
