Somerset Museum in Weston-super-Mare.

People's Collections
An ongoing programme of
exhibitions of local people's collections which are usually
displayed in the museum courtyard for eight weeks.
If you live in North Somerset and have a collection you would
like to display contact the museum.

The Grand Pier Fire Exhibition
A special exhibition,
created in partnership with the Grand Pier, on the devastating fire
of 28 July 2008 and its impact.
Items from the site are on show, including a dodgem car,
original iron pillar, coins, trophies and tools, as well as film of
the fire and an eye witness account.
The exhibition also includes is a 4 metres long, full detail,
scale model of the pier as it was before the fire.
Peggy Nisbet dolls: Porcelain, Vinyl, Wood and Wax
Until June 2010
For the sixth year running we are hosting
a special display of Peggy Nisbet dolls from collector Christine
Poulten. This year’s selection features some of the less well
known dolls, made using a variety of manufacturing processes.
Roots to North Somerset

A major new exhibition based
on the life experiences of people who have made the journey to
North Somerset, featuring their stories, images and treasured
possessions.
Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Primary School Art
6 June - 27 June 2009
A special display in the
museum's courtyard of artwork entered in the annual West Woodspring
Rotary Club's Primary School Art Competition.
