Check our LibrariesWest online
catalogue. This includes the stock of libraries in Bristol,
Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, and
South Gloucestershire, as well as North Somerset.
You can borrow books from over
100 LibrariesWest libraries
in person or by reserving
the book to come to your local library.
You
can request
a book online using your library card number and
PIN or
at your local library for a
small charge. You pay on your next visit to the
library. If you are under 18 you can make up to six
reservations for free. If you are a concessionary member it is
free to request large print or talking books.
If you can't find
your book, then we can search the national network of libraries
using our interlibrary loan service. The charge is £5 for
this service. There is a renewal charge of £2 if you need the
interlibrary loan for longer.
We can also
request an article from a book or journal from the
British Library. We will ask you to
fill in a copyright form, and there will be a £5 interlibrary loan
charge plus a 20p charge for each sheet of
the photocopy supplied.
