You can reserve items from over 100 libraries in
the LibrariesWest
network.
You can reserve books,
DVDs, CDs and
more online at the LibrariesWest
website using your library card number
and PIN.
Alternatively, you can reserve items by contacting
your local
library.
Reserved items will be sent to any library you
choose. We can let you know your reservation has arrived by
post, email, text
or phone.
There is a small charge (pdf, Jan 11, 61KB) to be
paid when your reservation is placed. If you reserve
online, pay on your next library visit. Anyone under
18 may make up to six reservations for free.
If you are unable to find what you need please
ask our library staff who will be happy to help.
We can conduct a search for books available via the
national network of libraries. There is a £5
charge (pdf, Jan 11,
61KB) for reserving books from outside of the LibrariesWest
area and £2 charge if you need to renew the loan.
Journal articles from the British Library can be requested on
completion of a copyright form. The charge is £5 plus 20p for
each sheet of the photocopy.
