John Johnson Collection

Search the thousands of images of items selected from the John Johnson Collection of Printed Ephemera at the Bodleian Library.

 

Offering unique insights into the changing nature of everyday life in Britain in the eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries the collection includes:

  • advertising
  • nineteenth-century entertainment
  • the booktrade
  • popular prints
  • crimes, murders and executions

You need to be a member of the library to use this service at home.

 

From home you will need to enter your library card number.
