We make a
small charge (pdf, Jan 11, 61KB)
for some of the services provided at our
libraries.
If unexpected closures of libraries have prevented you returning
items please query any overdue charges with staff.
There is a charge for borrowing
CDs, DVDs
and language courses. There is also a fee for borrowing talking
books, unless you have a visual impairment.
We charge for reservations
and there is a charge for items brought back or renewed late.
You can renew
your books anytime to avoid overdue charges. However there is a
renewal fee for books from outside LibrariesWest.
Reminders are sent out when items become 25
days overdue. We can send these notifications by
post, email, text
or phone. If a reminder is sent by post there is a small
charge (pdf, Jan 11,
61KB). If we have your email address a reminder is sent two
days before your loans are due and there is no charge for an
email reminder.
It is free to use our computers, but you will be
charged for printouts.
Our jute
bags are £1.99 each. RADAR keys for accessible toilets are also
for sale in libraries.
Any charges on your library account must be paid off on each
visit. If there are outstanding charges you wont be able
to renew items online or use the library computers.
Our charges are also listed with other council
fees and
charges.
