Pop in for a coffee, surf the internet and pick up a book, or DVD. Joining is easy and it's free. 

You will find a range of fiction and non fiction books on various subjects, current and classic DVDs, and a popular children's area. There are computers offering free internet access and helpful staff to assist you.

As a member of Portishead Library you can use over 100 libraries in the LibrariesWest network.

Directions:
Leave the M5 at junction 19 (signposted Portishead), at the roundabout take the exit for Portishead onto Portbury Hundred (A369 Portishead). At the end of this long road you will go over a roundabout (second exit) onto Wyndham Way. At the following roundabout go right (third exit) onto Quays Avenue. Go left at the next roundabout (first exit) onto Harbour Road. Turn left at the Travelodge/Waitrose.  On the left is a public car park.  The library is behind the supermarket on the right.
