Wind in the Willows

Escape to another world with the classic story of The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame, which is 100 years old this year.

Share the adventures of Rat, Mole, Badger and Toad in their lives on the river by borrowing a copy of The Wind in the Willows from your local library. Come in from the Wild Wood, and listen for the "poop-poop-poop" of the road-hogging Toad.

The Wind in the Willows promotion follows on from the success of previous Big Reads, such as Round the World in 80 days in 2006 and Small Island in 2007.

We have lots of copies of The Wind in the Willows in all of our libraries so pop in and borrow your copy today.

Share the Wind in the Willows experience with your family and friends as we read together in 2008.
