We welcome the donation of books in as new
condition. We may move them to the most appropriate library or
dispose of them at a later date.
We don't accept:
- DVDs and CDs due to legal reasons
- Spiral binding
- Condensed, Readers Digest or Book Club editions
- Fiction that is not in new condition, unless it is by local
authors for our local history library
- Non-fiction more than two years after publication unless
it is related to North Somerset now or in the past
Local History items
Books, articles,
dissertations, photographs, postcards, maps and ephemera of any
condition are collected in the
North Somerset Studies Library at Weston. Unpublished material
may be deposited at the
Somerset Heritage
Centre.
