Where is the reference library?
Weston-super-Mare has the largest reference collection in North
Somerset. You can ask a librarian at the
Enquiry Centre without
visiting the library. Bristol and Taunton have larger reference
collections.
How do I use the online library from home?
It is easy, if you follow the links from
www.n-somerset.gov.uk/onlinelibrary
for the service you want to use. Our information about the product
will tell you if you type in just your library card number or NSC
before your number.
Do you have electoral registers?
We have an edited version of the
register for North Somerset at Weston library. (It is not in
name order.) A full version is available at the Town Hall. Some old
registers are held in the
North Somerset Studies Library or
Somerset Record
Office.
Do you have telephone directories and Yellow
Pages?
We have a set of national phone books and Yellow Pages at Weston
library. While all libraries have access to the online version of
BT and Yellow Pages and their local directory. You can also ask our
Enquiry Centre team.
