Online services

We’re part of the LibrariesWest partnership so you can use your library card in over 100 libraries in Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Somerset and South Gloucestershire as well. Visit the LibrariesWest website to:

• search the catalogue and our subscriptions
• renew your loans
• reserve items
• borrow eBooks and eAudio books
• chat with a librarian
• post reviews

Services for children and families

Find out about regular library events and services for children and young people including Bookstart and the Summer Reading Challenge.

Lending, information and learning services

Find out what you can borrow, including books, eBooks, CDs, DVDs and large print or talking books and about access to local history, family history resources, newspapers, archives, computers and local information including local organisations and learning opportunities.

All our libraries support the Reading Well Books on Prescription scheme, being launched in June, by stocking a selection of self help books endorsed by health professionals, which can be reserved for free.


Joining and membership

Join free of charge to borrow items or use services in your local library and any LibrariesWest library.
