How we see ourselves can have a huge impact on how we feel.

It is important to have a realistic view of our own bodies, so we can understand how to keep at a healthy weight.

Sometimes, we can get a distorted picture of our bodies, which can lead to eating disorders such as bulimia and anorexia nervosa or binge eating.

Different people also have different body shapes. And when we are younger it is important to remember that we all grow at different rates. It can be quite normal for two people who are the same height to be different weights.
