This plan outlines a three-year strategy for
maximising the delivery of affordable housing across North
Somerset.
The plan is currently under review. An updated version is due
out in the spring 2011.
The aims contained with our
Affordable Housing Delivery Plan
(AHDP) include the following:
- To research the housing needs and housing markets across the
district
- To provide a good service to developers, housing
associations and other partners
- To promote and encourage the provision of affordable
housing
- To balance the local housing market through new housing
provision
- To seek out best practice on all issues
We work closely with our colleagues in development management in
a bid to achieve these aims and provide the affordable housing
people need.
