We are working to meet the needs of all residents in North Somerset. To do this we produce a housing strategy. This sets out our vision and aims for housing in North Somerset and states how we plan to achieve them.
The Housing Strategy 2010-2015 (pdf, Jun 10, 766KB) works to deliver the housing-related priorities in the North Somerset Partnership's Sustainable Community Strategy and works in conjunction with other strategies to deliver those priorities.
We published the first annual update to the Housing Strategy (pdf, Jan 12, 82k) in 2011, which includes explanations of the significant changes in national housing policy that have been introduced by government since 2010.
A number of other strategies and delivery plans sit below the Housing Strategy to help to deliver its aims. These include:

These strategies and plans will all be updated within the life of the Housing Strategy and the actions held within them will work to deliver the priorities of the Housing Strategy.
