As a tenant if you have a problem with the conditions
you are living in you must let the landlord or agent know as soon
as possible. They need to have a reasonable amount of time to carry
out repairs or sort the problem.
To help you we have provided a
Complaint letter template which can be used
to inform the landlord or agent about the property. It will be
useful to keep a copy for yourself in case you need to refer to
it at any stage.
If the landlord or agent is still refusing to do the work you
can
contact
us. We will arrange to come and inspect your property and may
be able to help.
We will make sure that the property is safe and fit to live
in and complies with legislation under the
Housing
Act 2004.
