Empty property service standards

In order to ensure that people who contact the Housing Strategy & Commissioning Team receive a quality service, we work to a set of service standards.


When a report of an empty property is received you can expect us to:

  • respond to requests to visit an empty property within 2 working days 
  • visit the property within 14 working days
  • advise on the outcome of a visit within 5 working days of the visit taking place.
