Under-25s

We may be able to help you if you are between 16 and 25 years of age and experiencing housing problems within North Somerset.

If you are threatened with homelessness we may need to carry out further investigations which could mean contacting your family, landlord or friends.

We can discuss the immediate assistance we may be able to offer and if we accept a full homeless duty we will be able to help find you accommodation. If you are not threatened with homelessness then we can offer you housing advice instead to help solve any problems you may have.

There are several schemes offering supported housing for young people within North Somerset. They are run by various local housing associations and include the following:

  • Weston Foyer - Run by Sanctuary Housing Association and offers self-contained accommodation with low to medium support for people aged between 18 and 30 years
  • 84 Severn Road - Run by Knightstone Housing Association and offers Assured Shorthold Tenancy accommodation with medium to high support for young people aged 16 to 25 years.
  • Graham House/Margaret House - Run by the Christian Alliance and offers shared and self-contained supported accommodation for single people or single mothers under 25 years.
  • Triangle Project - Run by the Christian Alliance and offers shared supported housing in Clevedon and Nailsea for people under 25 years.
  • Tudor House - Run by Elim Housing Association and offers supported housing in Nailsea for young people between 18 and 25 years.
  • Stonham Housing Association -offers medium to high level support in shared accommodation for 18 - 25 year olds and is based in Weston-super-Mare
