Heating should be available to tenants at all times in a
rented property and must be under their control.
Landlords must provide tenants with a fixed heating
appliance and electrical appliances must have a dedicated
socket.
The appliance should be capable of maintaining a
temperature of 21C with an outside temperature of -1C in
each part of the property.
However, this may not be possible due to poor insulation
but grants are available with further information available
