We aim to display all new planning applications on this
website within approximately ten working days and all
correspondence within five working days.
We have also produced a
guide explaining why we hold the
information and how we deal with personal information.
The council reserves the right to decide what information to
display on the website and when.
Please bear this in mind when writing any comments and deciding
what personal information to include in your letters or emails.
By sending us your comments you confirm that you agree to this
situation and accept legal responsibility for your comments.
You are strongly advised to read this
guide before send your comments.
To reduce the risk of fraud you do not need to sign your letter
provided your name is clearly written on it, however, we will not
take anonymous comments into account.
You are also advised not to make comments which are offensive or
which might give rise to legal proceedings against you, for
example, if they are defamatory.
We will acknowledge your correspondence using the
method that you sent them to us (except for fax messages). For
example comments sent to us via email will
be acknowledged by email.
If you would like to comment about a 'householder' planning
application (extension to a house, garden shed etc) please be
aware that, if the applicant submits an appeal your comments
will be passed to the Secretary of State and there
will be no opportunity to make further
representations.
