South West Bristol urban extension
application
You can view and submit comments on the planning application for
the
South West Bristol urban extension (sometimes called the
"Ashton Park" proposal).
Bristol Airport application
The application for the expansion of Bristol International
Airport was considered at a special meeting at the Planning and
Regulatory Committee on the 24 May. The committee decision
to approve the application subject to it being referred to the
Secretary of State. The Secretary of State will decide whether to
call the application in, in which case it will arrange for a
public inquiry to be held to consider the application or
whether it will let the decision to approve the application
stand.

Pre-application advice - new service launched 1
April
From 1 April we are launching a new pre-application advice
service. This new service will deliver improvements in the
consistency and timeliness of the advice we give to developers
prior to the submission of planning applications.
In order to achieve these improvements we are introducing new
charges, which are explained together with the service we offer in
our new
advice note.
