We have launched a new pre-application advice
service. This new service delivers improvements in the
consistency and timeliness of the advice we give to developers
prior to the submission of planning applications.
In order to achieve these improvements we have introduced
new fees. You can download an
advice note. which explains these
charges and the service we provide.
Up to date guidance about changes to the national planning
system can be found at the
Planning Portal and
Communities
and Local Government website.
If you are submitting information to the council in connection
with a planning application, you are advised to read the
Online
planning terms and conditions and the
data protection guide before submitting this
information.
The information that you need to submit with your application is
explained in the
national and local list of planning
application requirements. The requirements of both of these
lists need to be complied with before we can consider your
proposal.
Our current local list has been adopted following an 8 week
consultation exercise.
Parking Standards
A
parking study on residential standards was carried out in April
2010 and proposed revised standards were consulted on. This has
resulted in a review of current standards.
We have produced some guidance on completing the correct
Ownership certificate when submitting a
planning application.
We have also included a page for our popular agents
forum for further information please contact our
Development
Management team.
