Bristol International Airport Planning Application

We have received an outline planning application from Bristol International Airport for the expansion and alteration of the airport.

The application for the expansion of Bristol International Airport was considered at a special meeting at the Planning and Regulatory Committee on the 24 May. The committee decision to approve the application subject to it being referred to the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State will decide whether to call the application in, in which case it will arrange for a public inquiry to be held to consider the application or whether it will let the decision to approve the application stand.

  • Look at the planning application and supporting documents.  Please be aware that some of the plans are very large and may take sometime to download to your computer.  A paper copy of the application can be viewed at our offices located at Weston-super-Mare (open from 8:45am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am to 4:30pm on Friday).  Copies of the application can also be viewed at the following locations:-
