Leisure dome

We have received two separate planning applications from LeisureDome (UK) Ltd for a new leisure facility including a 210 metre long ski slope and associated roads at land at Locking Parklands (former RAF Locking).

Application Number 11/P/0923/F2

The full description of the development is:  'Development of a leisure facility (Use Class 'D2') comprising 33,112 square metres of floor space and associated commercial uses, including up to 2536 square metres of retail floor space (Use Class 'A1') and up to 1237 square metres of floor space to be used for restaurants & cafes and / or drinking areas (within Use Classes 'A3' and 'A4' respectively), together with associated car, cycle, coach and bus parking areas, landscaping and associated infrastructure'.

The full description of the development is: 'Infrastructure works associated with the formation of means of access from Locking Moor Road (A371) to a plot within Locking Parklands including the provision of a road, cycleway, footpath, landscaping, a new junction on the A371, road drainage, foul drainage, surface water drainage, plus associated and ancillary infrastructure'.
