You are legally obliged to pay a fee
for submitting a planning application.
The fees are set by the Government and are the same for all
councils across the country. These fees were increased from 6
April 2008.
We have produced a
Fee Summary of the fees. To calculate the
current fee you will need to submit with your application
please use
the
Fee Calculator on the
Planning Portal
website.
The fees for some of the main development types are set
out below:
Householder extensions - current fee: £150
New dwelling - current fee: £335
Change of use - current fee: £335
Advertisement on business premises - current fee: £95
Please ensure that you include the correct fee with your
application in the form of a cheque or postal order payable to
North Somerset Council as we cannot accept or process your
application without it.
