Applying for permission sometimes requires you to supply
a variety of plans, statements and other documentation before we
can begin to process it as a valid application.
The information that you need to submit with your application is
explained in the
national and local list of planning
application requirements. The requirements of both of these
lists need to be complied with before we can consider your
proposal.
We have also produced a simple
guide for home owners in order to explain
what information they need to submit with their householder
planning application. Please note however, if you also require
conservation area consent for demolition works or listed
building consent you need to refer to the main
national and local list.
Our current local list has been adopted following an 8 week
consultation exercise. We have also prepared some advice about
signing the appropriate
certificate with your
application.
To submit a planning application please use the
national
Planning Portal website, where you can find the
application forms and a wealth of additional guidance. For
further information about the fees involved with
submitting a planning application then please visit our
Fees page.
